TUESDAY 31ST MAY
** ORGAN & LONDON GIGS Presents ** SECOND SIGHT, THUMPERMONKEY LIVES, OAF @ The Victoria, Dalston, 20.00, £5
'ORGAN and LONGON GIGS presents a launch party and gig to celebrate the release of ADRIAN BELL'S second book, "AYLESBURY. BOLTON, WOLVERHAMPTON, HOVE: A LITTLE MAN AND 101 CARDIACS GIGS" The night will be a small Pond-like gathering of Affectionate Friends to celebrate the birth of Adrian's new book. We have bands, DJs going off and things, Squallor will be alive in not very tidy East London, and most of all we need a small pond.. Headline band will be classic proper prog rock cover band, SECOND SIGHT, hopefully with a Cardiacs tune in there alongside the slices of Genesis, Yes and King Crimson...Support comes from THUMPERMONKEY LIVES, a fresh and thrilling full on prog rock band alive with new musical adventure...The night will be opened by the mighty OAF - "Lunatic post-punk noise making oddballs from the South Coast", they'll throw things in to a right old panixphere and get thing going off'
