MONDAY 5TH APRIL
**ORGAN RECOMMENDS** AEAEA, PINK NARCISSUS, SLAPPER plus more - This New Battlefield @ The Drop, Church St, Stoke Newington, 19.00, FREE
'Aeaea are people ex of Selfish Cunt, the band we’re recommending though is the bag load of artistic narcissistic energy from Brighton called Pink Narcissus. Think early Manics confidence, Buzzcocks strident knowing and a frontman born to be on stage with his big angel wings and who knos what?
“THIS NEW BATTLEFIELD is a new performance concept night devised to radically obscure the boundaries between performance art, spoken word, live music and the club experience. Each event is a uniquely curated project, challenging the artists involved to create new work in a range of jarring and exciting collaborations with individuals from very different (or opposing) places in the creative spectrum. THIS NEW BATTLEFIELD is not a place for the comfortable, safe, familiar – we expect conflict, outrage, provocation and revelation. THE DROP - be one of the first to enter our discreet entrance and sample this stunning subterranean haunt, boasting sublime contemporary décor and an intimate club space”'
